“Muslims around the world are celebrating ‘Eīd, the culmination of Ramadān, a month of fasting. Ramadān however is not about mere abstention from food and drink, but rather about personal spiritual growth as well as creating a heightened awareness of our individual and collective social responsibilities. We celebrate today, hoping we have each made progress on our journey to grow as individuals, and become better human beings!”
